Unaware life was about to change, our favorite Boston friends came to visit and we were busy, busy, busy with hockey, dance and Scouts.

Dance champions
Her first ever real dance competition, doing a hip hop routine and a pom jazz dance. And because there weren't a lot of teams in their "division" (most teams are full-year, we opted for half-year), they won the "national championship." Lots of stress (they actually have requirements for hair and makeup, which seems a bit absurd for 9-year-olds). But she loves dancing and the art of a good performance.
