Christmas cookies and Karaoke

We don't see these crazy kids nearly enough, and when we do it's as though no time has passed.

Grammy and Turkey Day

Thanks Grammy for hosting our kids and for loving them.

Beautiful girl

Just like that, she's off to preschool four mornings a week. (Her stitches are gone and the wound is mostly healed, but we like the bandaid because it still looks pretty red and the bandaid keeps out the sun.)

Great Country Farms

When I'm an old lady, apple picking in Bluemont will be one of the memories I'll cherish the most. Not sure why I love this place as much as I do. But I could spend days there and be so happy. We come home tired, covered in dirt and always laughing about something.

Remembering Papa

The view from his regular running path.

Running near Susan's house after Papa's memorial service. I miss Colorado trails.

Totality

The race to "totality," a 4.5 hour drive from the Colorado mountains to a Burger King parking lot in Wheatland, Wyoming.

Swim Season

It was Bandit's first year on the big swim team. She swam with so much heart, and worked really, really hard. By the end of the year, she was everyone's best friend. I was so proud.

Xman took home the Coach's award for the kid who works hard, listens and is kind. That's on top of the "Character" award he got at school for demonstrating daily honesty, compassion, responsibility and courage.

Even Maggie blew us away. By the end of the summer, not even 4 years old, she was swimming like a fish.

Summer

The library, the dentist and lots of boredom.
