6th grade "promotion" means this girl is on to middle school! Festivities this week included a class reception at a local country club with a photo booth (thank you parents who belong to a country club!), a promotion ceremony with a president's award for academics and a "parade of cheers" through the hallway where she got to high-five her goodbyes in the school.
We are so proud of her open mind, kindness and bravery. From teaching herself to speak French (when the school only offers Spanish) to jumping in enthusiastically into Scouts and the school play, she's game for learning anything. She also makes some pretty great chocolate chip waffles. So proud.
