We booked this trip in January only to watch it turn out as the coldest Memorial Day weekend in 100 years with two straight days of rain and 50-degree temps. Bummed at first, the kids rallied with mini-golf, special dinners out, rock candy and lots of Mad Libs. The kids agreed their high point was watching Scooby-Doo as a family with desserts in the hotel room.
